The Burren National Park
The Burren region is definitely an iconic area of Ireland that you need to visit, if nothing else for it’s unique rocky landscape, limestone pavement and flora. Lots of walking and hiking trails, they’re easy but beautiful walks. All info on the National Park can be found here
Cool but scary! It’s over 10 stories below ground and has one of the longest free-hanging stalactite in Europe. More info here
Bridges of Ross & Loop Head
Only one of the three natural bridge arches remain. The costal scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. There’s a lighthouse you can visit for a small fee. More info here
Famous for it’s limestone pavement and the fossils embedded in the rocks. It’s not your typical sandy beach. The beach is lovely and peaceful to go for a stroll. More info here
Dromore Wood Nature Reserve
Magical place, there are many different walking paths to explore. Beautiful in the autumn months, when the leaves fall from the trees showing an array of colour along the path. Find info on guided tours here
